This statement still rings true even over 100 years later. On the contrary: If we understand 'energies' as not only the physical flow of all kinds of media through our valves, but also understand it to be the efficient flow of materials and parts along the value stream in production, the flow of know-how along the product life cycle as well as the enthusiasm and creativity of SAMSON's entire workforce, the statement made in 1920 reveals the full scope of its meaning.
Over a period of 3 years, we had a remarkable chronicle of our extraordinary family-owned company prepared. Entitled "SAMSON - The transformation of a strong company", Prof. Manfred Pohl and Jelena Mitsiadis chronicled the history from the fundamental invention of the first thermostatic valve, through all the challenges of growing into an international industrial company, to shaping our increasingly digitalized future.
SAMSON builds valves and systems, repairs them in the field and in its own workshops, and provides its customers with data-based process intelligence. We train young people and inspire them to create industrial value. We give young refugees a completely new perspective. We invest in startups or draw inspiration from them in technology collaborations. We assume economic and social responsibility because the three AG bodies - the Annual General Meeting, Supervisory Board and Board of Management - encourage us to do so. We see ourselves as shapers of the future process industry, inventors of new generations of valves, protagonists of green hydrogen, reliable partners and responsible, international employers. We think and act in the long term, in accordance with the rules, decently and at the same time take care of the priorities of the present and challenges of the future.
